Register for the WAD Conference! The WAD Conference is quickly approaching!! Register today! Combo rate is now $30, and you can pay on the website, with PayPal, Credit Card or Debit card, or through the mail with Money Order or Checks. Pay NOW so you don't pay "at the door" prices! Check out the SCHEDULE of the conference here! Children's Activities Kids are WELCOME at the WAD Conference. Childrens Activities will be available for all kids over 3 years of age. To take advantage of the Kids Activities, please register BEFORE June 12th. Availability of Childrens Activities may not be available for your child(ren) if you arrive with your child(ren) without prior notice. Picnic The Picnic which will be held on June 20th from 2 pm to 11 pm will have plenty of Food and Drinks (beer and non-alcoholic drinks) for everyone, as well as a bouncer for children to enjoy! Admission to the picnic is $5. ASL Live! Competition The ASL Live! Competition will occur at 7 pm at the Picnic. We are still looking for contestants for the ASL Live! competition. . Lodging There are several lodging options for the conference, or the night of the Picnic. You can stay at the WSD Dorm for only $40 per room per night (up to 2 adults per room). Direct: (262) 725-9907 Miss Deaf Wisconsin Pageant WAD has some unfortunate news, we will not have a Miss Deaf Wisconsin Pageant at the conference. If you have already paid for tickets to see the Pageant, we will gladly refund your money. Although, we are working on making alternative arrangements for that evening and will announce it very soon. Keep an eye out for what's happening on Friday June 19th! WAD General Meeting The most important part of the conference - the General Meetings and Elections. The meeting will be done in three parts. On Thursday evening we will begin with the Board of Director's reports at 5:00 pm. On Friday morning at 8 am, we will have the General Meeting, where motions can be made. On Saturday June 20th at 8 am, the Election for the 2009-2011 Board of Directors will be held. Members of WAD will be able to vote for the 2009-2011 Board of Directors that will lead WAD with the support and direction of the Members. Are you a member yet? Become a member today!
